This update has rolled out few months already now. But there are some Android phones that didn't get that update yet. So here is how to get that update and keep your phone rocking.
There are two ways to do this. First, maybe your current Android Market app still thinks that there is no update for its own app. So what you want to do is to completely close that app and start it up back. To do this, you must navigate to your Setting, then go to the place you can view all your applications (may vary depending on phones), then, find the Android Market app. Click that and clear the data.
Settings ---> Application ---> Android Market ---> Clear Data.Now that you've cleared the app's data, go and open up the Market app. There will be a message saying that the Market app will now be upgraded to Google Play Store. If you didn't get that message, you have to download the Google Play Store from me. As of right this moment, the Google Play.apk is the latest version. I will update this post if Android roll out an update for this app.
Anyway, after you have downloaded, put that apk file in your phone's SD Card and install it in your phone just like any other app. Just that when you're installing, your phone will recognise that app as a system file. Just proceed and you'll have Google Play Store.
